Big City Love

Growing up in a rather small-ish town, I've always felt drawn to big, dynamic and vibrant cities. This week Wanderlust hit me hard, I felt the urge to just pack my bags and leave this place for a while. I think my short weekend trip to Berlin last week is to blame and had made me miss the big city vibe.

If you could be anywhere in the world right now, where would you go?

Current Wishlist May
1. I saw this shirt on the Zoe Karssen website and instantly fell in love with it. It looks so casual and and the text is cool as well. Ahhhh, I want it so bad! Zoe Karssen

2. The infamous Bat sweater is quite well-known in the blogging world and I think it's such a versatile piece of clothing because I saw many people styling it differently. A must-have in my autumn/winter wardrobe this year! Zoe Karssen

3. I've been wanting a pair of those loafers ever since Chiara Ferragni first released them. They're just too cute, aren't they?

4. Every person out there needs a pair of Dr Martens. Full stop. You have seen my pink one in my University Truant post and I also own a white pair that I will show you soon. How odd that I don't own a black one. Need to change that asap!

5. Ahhh bag-craving as usual. This is the beautiful Pandora bag by Givenchy... No money as usual. *le cries*

Things That I've Been Loving

This is probably going to be the most boring post ever but life has kept me on my toes a lot recently so I barely had time to blog.
I'm still in my quarter-life crisis and I still am frustrated because my future is so blurry at the moment. With all that stress going on, I'm glad that I have these little things here that keep me happy.

I'm absolutely in love with this foundation and powder brush by da Vinci. It's so soft, it looks gorgeous and it applies the powder evenly on your face. My mommy gave it to me as a gift because she got 50% off but it was still quite pricey. You can buy it here. (German link)

I've been finding a lot of comfort in books. I'm currently reading "Clockwork Princess" by Cassandra Clare (book is not in the photo) and it's AMAZING. I love anything by Cassie Clare to be fair, as you can probably tell by the Mortal Instruments books up there. She is such a talented writer and I would love to live in the fantasy world created by her.
I love reading books just as much as I love owning them, which is why I've been spending a good fortune on literature lately.

My beloved flower crown. I need to get more soon!

One of my best friends Milena has a car now, so whenever I crave McDonalds (which happens usually around midnight-ish) she picks me up and we stuff our faces with fast food.

My new plant. His name is Bob.

I hope you dig this post, even though it's barely fashion-related and more personal than usual. I'm looking for someone who can take photos of my outfits right now because exams are taking over my friend's life and she never leaves the house anymore.
Well, enjoy your Wednesday night!

I'm Such A Child

In my opinion, dungarees are the best thing ever. They're perfect when you can't be bothered to put together a proper outfit, and they look so casual and 90's-cool.
I used to wear them all the time as a toddler, which is why I was quite chuffed when they came back in fashion last year.
I'm kind of having a quarter-life crisis (at the age of 17 lol) right now and I have to face many adult decisions, which is SO frustrating. Do I continue school or do I look for an apprenticeship?
Argh, idk idk man, I'm 17 ffs.

Top - Zara
Dungarees - Topshop
Shoes - Converse

I hope you're having a better time than I do. I know my last posts had been quite depressing but I promise, I'll try to be a lot happier now. :)

Summertime Sadness

I'm not entirely sure why, but I've been feeling really low lately even though the weather is so lovely outside. Today I tried to bring myself some joy by wearing these floral leggings that I purchased at the beginning of this year. They helped a tiny bit, I must say.

Shirt - H&M
Leggings - H&M
Boots - Rieker
Hat - Asos
Bag - Zara

The floral print is a bit out of my comfort zone to be honest, but I'm trying to be a bit braver when it comes to fashion.
Hope you have a lovely day!

Met Gala 2014

Yesterday was one of my favourite fashion events of the year, the Met Gala in New York. The theme for 2014 was "Charles James: Beyond Fashion", which I found particularly exciting because its timelessness and extravagance.

The women were expected in glamourous ball gowns and in my opinion, most of them did a great job interpreting the dress code.

Suki Waterhouse - Burberry

The Beckhams - Victoria Beckham

Blake Lively - Gucci

Emma Stone - Thakoon

Jessica Alba - Diane von Furstenberg

Karolina Kurkova - Marchesa

Kendall Jenner - Topshop (OMG, high street! lol)

Kim Kardashian - Lanvin

Liu Wen - Zac Posen

I can barely decide which look I love the most, but Suki really looked wonderful in that dress.
What do you think?

Casual Outfit For School

I couldn't care less about my appearance in school because 1. lack of time in the morning, 2. there's no one to impress and 3. dressing up for school is often a disadvantage because teenagers are awfully judgemental.
Therefore, my go-to outfit is pretty comfortable and monochrome most of the time.

 Grey shirt - Esprit
Blazer - Zara
Leggings - Primark
Loafers - Zara
Scarf - Alexander McQueen
Bag - Picard (Vintage)

Oh my God... Pigeon toes for the win, haha!

What do you wear to school/college/uni/work? Do you dress up or look like a hobo like I do? Let me know!
